The Yoga House at Glandŵr was built in 1809 as a seaside haven for the Lloyd-Williams family of Gwernant. It is a 200 year old Grade II listed country house in the village of Tresaith in south Ceredigion on the southern coast of Cardigan Bay.

The Yoga House is set in five acres of gardens and woodland, nestling in the valley of the bubbling river Saith, and is a stone’s throw from a glorious sandy beach and its splendid cliff-top waterfall. With pathways leading inland and along the coast, and stunning coastal views of west and north Wales, The Yoga House at Glandŵr Tresaith is an ideal location to retreat from the grind of daily life.

Owned and managed by Linda Ceri Jones – or Linda Premanandhi in yogic circles – Glandŵr can provide you with a tranquil location for both indoor and outdoor yoga practice.

Over the centuries various wings have been added to Glandŵr, which mean The Yoga House can now offer 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, accommodating some 12 persons in various comfortable and stylish double, and twin combinations. We have a large 6.5m x 5m (22ft x 16ft), wood sprung-floor Yoga Room, and an exterior decking platform designed for practice. Our 9m (30ft) kitchen is spacious and airy and is a stunning area for dining. With a further 2 lounges equipped with log-buring stoves, a chill-out billiards room, plus wifi and hard-wire internet connectivity, and extensive grounds to enjoy, The Yoga House can cater to most precise needs.

The Yoga House at Glandŵr can be hired for a self-catering retreat, or Linda (also a qualified chef specialising in nutritious vegan and vegetarian food) can organise meals during your visit.

1. Entrance: two curved narrow steps lead up to the front entrance door.

2. All downstairs rooms at Glandŵr are on the same level, except for a slight incline into the large Red Room, and a step down to the kitchen.

3. All bedrooms at Glandŵr are on the first floor. These can only be accessed via a curved staircase with original handrail which is not suited to support weight. There is no lift.

4. Three steps descend from the en suite bedrooms down to their respective bathrooms. Similarly, three steps descend from the top to the bottom half of the family bathroom. There are no handrails.
